Three miscreants snatched an auto-rickshaw and Rs1,200 from Ranjit Singh, a resident of Jujhar Nagar, near Nayagaon.

The complainant said the trio hired the auto from PGI gate number 3. They assaulted auto driver Ranjit near Patiala ki Rao rivulet and fled with the auto. The police have registered a case of snatching. They are scanning the CCTV footage of the area to get any clue about the miscreants.

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.
