Over 100 bodybuilders from the region competed in three categories — senior bodybuilding, sports physique and athletic physique. The participants displayed their muscular bodies to thunderous applause from the audience.

Rabecca, a woman bodybuilder who was a special invitee, also posed at the event. Suraj Bhan Nain, Secretary-General of North Zone Bodybuilders Association, was the chief judge of the championship. Upkar, Nakul Kaushal, Rahul and Vikram Singh also judged the participants.

“Youngsters these days face many health challenges due to a sedentary lifestyle, triggered mainly by social media addiction. To break this vicious cycle, I call upon youth to be physically active and adopt exercise and sports as a way of life. Bodybuilding too can be of great help to maintain a healthy physique,” said Nain.
