The award was presented by Baba Ramdev, a renowned exponent of yoga, and Harshvardhan, a prominent journalist of India, on behalf of the NISA organisation.
This award acknowledges Dr Rudhra's remarkable journey, marked by numerous milestones, including providing free education to underprivileged children and his commitment to social welfare.
As a visionary educator and social worker, he has been instrumental in shaping the educational landscape of Punjab. His dedication to imparting quality education and empowering future generations has left an indelible mark on the community. This is not his first recognition as in 2002 he was honored with National Award by Sheila Dixit, the then Chief Minister of Delhi.
