Ayurvedic medical officers given appointment letters in Panchkula

Appointment letters were distributed to Ayurvedic Medical Officers during a programme organised at Tau Devi Lal Stadium.

The event highlighted the importance of Ayurveda and modern health services and aimed to benefit the general public.

A special stall was set up by the National Institute of Ayurveda, where Health Minister Arti Singh Rao was apprised about the institute’s achievements and facilities.

Life-saving techniques were demonstrated through cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) manikin under Basic Life Support training at the stall.

Awareness pamphlets and other material on various Ayurveda-related topics, including obesity, de-addiction, chemotherapy, daily routine, seasonal routine, Panchkarma, skin diseases, diabetes, and pregnancy care, was made available.

The stall also displayed the institute’s structure, current facilities, and future development plans through blueprints and photographs.

The Minister appreciated the institute’s campus, hospital, college facilities, and upcoming development plans. She said the institute is promoting Ayurvedic medicine while also serving as a useful health centre.

She also acknowledged the efforts being made to integrate Ayurveda with modern medicine.
