Chandigarh, February 13

Ayush Gangal, a resident of Sector 46, has emerged the city topper with 99.99 percentile in JEE (Main). Gangal, an alumnus of Bhavan Vidyalaya, has secured a perfect 100 in mathematics and 99.99 in both chemistry and physics.

Having achieved 99.6 per cent in Class X exam, Gangal now aspires to pursue computer science at IIT-Bombay. His father, Saurabh Gangal, was his mentor during the JEE preparations.

Ayush dedicates 12 hours to his studies daily. In a message to future aspirants, he emphasises the importance of NCERT for chemistry, regular problem-solving in maths and physics.

Ayush attributed his success to rigorous practice, particularly in mathematics, while focusing on

the NCERT syllabus

for chemistry. He emphasised the importance of repeated question practice in his preparation.

His success mantra revolves around learning from mistakes, timely corrections, focused revision and a combination of hard work and relaxation.

Mayank Jain from Panchkula has secured 99.98 percentile. Jain, a student of Gurukul Global School in Sector 13, has achieved a perfect 100 percentile in mathematics, 99.85 in physics and 99.89 percentile in chemistry. Jain also aspires to pursue computer science at IIT-Bombay. He attributes his success to unwavering hard work and a never-give-up attitude.

Mayank’s success echoes Ayush’s strategy — regular assessments, past paper solving and a calm demeanour on exam days.
