The operators posted at police stations of Mohali district are facing a daunting task of being up to date in making Excel sheets in their day-to-day working.

Sources said soon, close to 100 operators in all police stations of the district will be up-to-date in data management, if not keyboard warriors.

As per Mohali SSP Deepak Pareek, “Data management and analysis is now a key step in delivering fast services. Soon, all the operators in the police stations will be well versed with making Excel sheets, which will help us in fast resolution of cases. The tool will be very helpful in tracking accident hotspots, traffic management, collation of FIRs, besides other things.”
