DEO Jain said, “A campaign was launched at the Punjab National Bank in Phase 3B2 Mohali in which every bank and ATM in Mohali will convey a message to strengthen democracy by pasting or displaying posters or stickers of ‘Punjab Votes on 1 June, 2024’. We will leave no stone unturned to achieve over 80 per cent voter turnout in the General Election.”

The district Nodal Officer, Systematic Voters’ Education and Electoral Participation (SVEEP) officials said after showing the IPL match to the youth and first-time voters and organising a marathon of women to encourage women voters, the district SVEEP team has started mobilising bank customers as a part of the voter awareness drive to give the campaign another boost.

Today, all the staff and customers who came to avail bank services were administered a pledge to vote in the General Election.

The Deputy Manager of Punjab National Bank in Phase 3B2, Mohali, Pragati, who would vote for the first time during this General Election, gave a message to the youths: ‘Mera Pehla Vote Desh De Naam’. On this occasion, key rings and caps with messages to vote on June 1, 2024, were also distributed to the voters who availed themselves of banking services.
