Fatehgarh Sahib, January 13

A delegation of Bassi Pathana residents along with Gurpreet Singh GP, an MLA, and Subhash Sood, president, District Congress Committee, called upon Patiala MP Perneet Kaur and submitted a memorandum to get the Civil Hospital in their town upgraded to 50 bedded hospital. The hospital was downgraded during the previous SAD (B)-BJP regime from 25 bedded hospital to a community health centre.

Rajni Bala Tulani, vice-president, Municipal Committee, said the MP assured to take up the issue with the Health Department. — OC
