The batteries of eight vehicles were stolen at Khudda Jassu on the intervening night of September 12 and 13.

Suraj Arya, a resident of Khudda Jassu village, reported that someone stole the battery of his Mahindra pick-up, which was parked near his house. The batteries of four Maruti cars, a Maruti Zen, another Mahindra pick-up and Tavera were also stolen.

All vehicles were parked at the same place.

The theft came to light in the morning. A case has been registered at the Sarangpur police station. — TNS
