BJP to start ‘Seva Pakhwada’ from today

BJP workers will reach out to every section of society with the message of service, cooperation and dedication during the “Seva Pakhwada” to be celebrated from September 17 to October 2 across the country.

City BJP president Jitendra Pal Malhotra shared details of the preparations for the ‘Seva Pakhwada’ dedicated to the 75th birthday of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi in a press conference organised at the party office, Kamlam, today.

Malhotra said that the essence of the programme is “seva hi sangathan” (Service is organisation). He further said that a wide range of activities would be organised during this period, including blood donation camps, health check-ups, nutrition awareness drives, cleanliness campaigns, plantation drives, digital literacy programmes and assistance for the differently abled and underprivileged.
