A large number of BJP workers, led by party’s district president Didar Singh Bhatti, held a protest against the AAP government for not allowing them to organise camps. They raised slogans against the government and burnt its effigy during the demonstration in front of the Deputy Commissioner Office.

Addressing the protesters, Bhatti, former minister Dr Harbans Lal and party leader Geja Ram Balmiki said AAP did not initiate any step to provide the benefit of Union Government-sponsored schemes at the grassroots level. They said when the BJP started organising camps in the rural areas to apprise the beneficiaries of the Centre’s schemes, the police, allegedly on the orders of the AAP government, stopped all these camps and even detained their leaders and workers.
