BJYM lends a helping hand to the needy
Chandigarh: The Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha (BJYM), BJP’s youth wing, is helping the needy. “We have set up kitchens at Maloya, Kishangarh, Indira Colony and other places. We prepare about 10, 000 food packets daily. We have tied up with the UT Administration. Its staff vehicles pick up the packets for distribution. At some places, our workers also distribute the food,” said Amandeep Singh, State general Secretary, BJYM, Chandigarh. The BJYM is using #BjymCares on Twitter to help the needy. “Whoever is stuck in any district in the country can use the hashtag and our workers in the district will reach out to help them,” he added. “An online drive to thank people has also been started by national president Poonam Mahajan on Twitter and Facebook. She is interacting office-bearers of all states,” shared the young leader. TNS
