Chandigarh, September 30

The body of an unidentified man was found under mysterious circumstances in the forest area of Chandigarh's Sector 54 on Wednesday.

Based on the injuries, police suspect the man was murdered.

The body was noticed by a passerby who informed the police following which various teams rushed to the spot.

Sources said that the victim had an injury on his head.

The body was shifted to the mortuary at Government multi-speciality Hospital (GMSH) in Sector 16.

Meanwhile, an investigation has been initiated at the Sector 39 police station.
