In the letter, Gopal Wadhwa, president of the association, also sought FIR against illegal vendors. “Certain individuals have illegally occupied designated parking areas in our sector, causing severe inconvenience to shop owners, customers and delivery vehicles. Most of these vendors have fake licences. It should also be checked if they are operating in the area allotted to them,” he said.

Wadhwa said a vendor was found operating from the Sector 22-B market even as he was allotted space in Sector 15. “This persistent encroachment not only disrupts dally business operations, but also poses safety risks and violates civic norms,” he said.
