Briefly: Three suffer gunshot injuries
Mohali: Three persons received gunshot injuries after an alleged land dispute turned ugly at Kharar’s Rassanheri village. The police said a land dispute was going on between a property dealer and an ex-servicemen and a clash erupted yesterday between the two groups, after which gunshots were fired. The victims were rushed to the Civil Hospital in Phase 6, from where they were referred to GMCH-32. A case has been registered at the Kharar police station.
Trinity institute, Zirakpur
Zirakpur: Dr Mohinder Kaushal of Trinity Hospital and Medical Research Institute, Zirakpur, has been invited to contribute four chapters to the third edition of the ‘Endoscopic Spine Surgery’. The work will be published by Thieme, which is led by Prof Dr Daniel Kim from the University of Texas in USA, along with his distinguished co-editors. Dr Kaushal’s contributions will focus on his ‘Arthrospine Duo UBE’ technique, which is recognised for its innovation in the field of spine surgery.
