Chandigarh: Thieves broke into a grocery store at Mani Majra and decamped with Rs 40,000 and documents. Sumit Arora, a resident of Mori Gate, Mani Majra, told the police that some unknown miscreants stole Rs 40,000 and a few documents from Guru Kirpa Kiryana store in Mani Majra on the intervening night of May 11 and 12. A case has been registered at the Mani Majra police station. “We are scrutinising the footage of CCTV cameras installed in the area,” said a police official. TNS
