This bus queue shelter is in a poor condition, with pamphlets defacing its wall. The administration should use the walls of for bus queue shelters for creating awareness about social issues.

UT admn should make List of registered PGs

Many PGs are running illegally in the city even after the unfortunate fire incident in a PG accommodation in Sector 32. A list of registered PGs should be made and door-to-door verification should be done. Owners of unregistered PGs should be slapped with hefty fines. Regular checks should be carried out and fines should be imposed on defaulters. Students should also be told to register a complaint if the PG they are living in, is being run illegally.

pu campus lacks basic hygiene

In view of the Covid-19 threat, classes have been suspended on the Panjab University (PU) campus. However, if a survey on general hygiene is done on the campus, the rank will be low. Though the Swachh Bharat Mission is running in every part of the country and governments are also spending huge amount on the programme, this university campus lacks even the basic cleanliness. In washrooms, proper soaps and soap dispensers are not available. In some departments, washrooms are broken. Nothing is being done to disinfect the campus on a regular basis. The authorities concerned should have a check on at least these basic amenities on the campus where thousands of students study.

Extend vehicle registration Deadline

When there is widespread panic among residents due to Covid-19, it is very difficult for people to visit crowded places, especially public-dealing offices such as RLA Department to get their work done. The government should extend the deadline for registration of vehicles at least by a month as the safety of people is utmost important at this time..
