Cabbie's body found from Dadu Majra
Chandigarh, July 8
A day after the body of 26-year-old woman, who along with two others was washed away while crossing Patiala ki Rao rivulet in a cab at Tanda village near Nayagaon was found, the body of the missing cab driver was also recovered from Dadu Majra today.
The victim has been identified as Gaurav, a resident of Muktsar. Sources said passersby noticed the body near a tree around 7 am.
The police said the body was found near the dumping ground at Dadu Majra, around the same spot where Pooja’s body was retrieved yesterday. The body was bloated, said a cop.
Sources said Gaurav had started driving cab only a few days ago. “He was staying at his friend’s place in Mohali and had recently started driving the cab owned by his friend,” said a source.
The third person missing in the accident is still unidentified and untraced.
