Campus notes: Dev Samaj College of Education

Dev Samaj College of Education, Sector 36, organised a faculty exchange programme designed to facilitate cultural exchange, professional development and collaborative learning among educators across the nation. Delegates from different institutions partook in the activities conducted over the course of the programme.

Aryans College of Law

Law students of the Aryans College of Law bagged laurels in the fourth semester examinations conducted by Punjabi University, Patiala. In BA-LLB, fourth semester examination, Kashish bagged the first position. Karni Kaur, another student from the institute, came in second, while Priyanka Rani secured the third position. Principal Dr Davinder Kumar Singla congratulated the students and faculty.

Desh Bhagat University

Desh Bhagat University organised a free medical and dental check-up. The camp was held to remember the unparalleled sacrifices of Sahibzadas Baba Zorawar Singh, Baba Fateh Singh, and Mata Gujri during the Shahidi Jod Mela. The camp aimed to provide essential healthcare services, including free medical checkups.

CL Aggarwal DAV Model

CL Aggarwal DAV Model School, Sector 7, organised their annual sports meet. RC Jeevan, former principal of DAV College, officially declared the meet open. The day commenced with a welcome dance, reflecting the vibrant culture and spirit of the school, followed by a series of competitive races that showcased the athletic prowess of the school students.

Shishu Niketan, Sector 22

Students of Classes 3, 4, and 5 of Shishu Niketan Model Senior Secondary School, Sector 22, embarked on a school trip to the Pinjore Gardens. Students enjoyed learning about the garden's Mughal heritage as well as participating in group games, and exploring the fountains and pathways. The trip ended with students clicking pictures and carrying home cherished memories and a wealth of knowledge on the subject matter.

Hansraj Public School, Panchkula

Hansraj Public School, Sector 6, culminated the Joy of Giving Week with a havan ceremony, commemorating the 98th Martyrdom Day of Swami Shraddhanand . The event aimed to promote environmental protection and reinforce the values of selfless service and sacrifice. As part of the community outreach program, the student alumni body EHSAAS, collaborated with students of Class 9 and 12 to distribute handmade products.
