Chandigarh: The junior wing of the school celebrated its annual function, “Srijan - The Saga of Creation”, at Indradhanush Auditorium in Panchkula on Thursday. Students mesmerised the audience with captivating performances. Retired IAS officer KK Khandelwal, who was the chief guest, shared valuable lessons with students, underscoring the importance of life skills such as resilience, determination and strong willpower. He urged them to embrace challenges with confidence and use these skills as guiding principles in their journey towards a successful and meaningful life. Awards were presented to junior students across various categories, including excellence in academics, art and craft and sports.
University Institute of Legal Studies
Chandigarh: The University Institute of Legal Studies (UILS), Panjab University, on Thursday organised a talk show, “Ansuni Awaz”, focusing on legal framework for transgender. It was held in collaboration with Rainbow (Centre for Trans Studies), Humsafar Trust, Mumbai, and Saksham Prakriti Welfare Society, Chandigarh, at the moot court hall of the UILS. The event witnessed huge participation from students, faculty, and transgender rights activists.
