Chitkara University launched the iOS Student Developer Program in association with Apple. This innovative program represents a major milestone in empowering the next generation of app developers through hands-on experience, mentorship, and exposure to real-world projects. “We are delighted to join forces with Apple to introduce the iOS Student Developer Program,” said Dr Madhu Chitkara, pro-chancellor of the university.
Collaborative MBA with PwC
Chandigarh University claimed to have become the first Indian university to start a collaborative MBA programme in applied finance with Pricewaterhouse Coopers (PwC), a leading financial advisory firm at the global level, to provide aspiring business students real world business exposure and perspective.
Startup Incubator inaugurated
Venture Nest, an incubator under the TBI Association of CGC Jhanjeri, was inaugurated on Thursday. Arsh Dhaliwal, MD of the college, announced 30 MoUs with government catalysts, investment partners, ecosystem enablers and accelerators. These partnerships will grant startups access to vital resources, funding, mentorship and networking opportunities, he said.
Kargil Vijay Diwas celebrated
Kargil Vijay Diwas was celebrated by Aryans Group of Colleges, Sector 16, Chandigarh. Amir Husain Lone, captain of J&K Para Cricket Team was the special guest. The celebration was organised by the college’s nursing students. Lone said such events motivate youngsters to work for the progress of the nation.
