Chandigarh, March 16

The Central Administrative Tribunal (CAT) here has issued a notice to the PGI seeking its reply to an application submitted by 74 students who have completed BSc nursing course from the National Institute of Nursing Education (NINE), PGI, recently.

The students, who approached the CAT, are from the 2016 batch of NINE. They have sought directions to the PGI to recruit them against vacant posts of nursing officer. They said while 84 candidates of BSc Nursing from last passed-out batch of NINE were given job, the PGI was sitting over their claim. — TNS
