Chain snatchers target teacher near school
Two bike-borne youths snatched the gold chain from a teacher of Little Angles School, Vasant Vihar, Phase-1, Dhakoli, outside the school premises this afternoon.
The victim, Sunita, had just parked her scooty when the youths, who were following her, approached her. One of them got down from the bike and snatched her gold chain.
The gateman of the school, Jagdish Kumar, noticed the person fleeing with the chain and tried to stop him. However, he managed to evade him and fled with his accomplice.
Jagdish fell on the road while trying to nab the suspects. The incident was captured on a CCTV camera.
Dhakoli police post incharge Gursher Singh said they had registered a case.
