The City Beautiful moves like a silent symphony — its gardens the melody, its people the chorus. I came as a tourist, but mesmerised by its green beauty I made it my permanent home. Its verdant parks and gardens like the Topiary, Japanese, Fragrance, and Rose Garden —  each one offers a unique escape whether it is the scent of Raat ki Rani or the sight of 500 cacti species. At Sukhna Lake, dawn paints the sky in strokes of water colours, while dusk throws its cerulean hues on its shores. Birds — Siberian, ducks, cranes, storks — glide above Sukhna's waters like nature’s poetry. The Rock Garden tells tales through its scrap-turned-sculptures, echoing human ingenuity.

Nights shimmer with music and dance, yet mornings remain peaceful and pure. Chandigarh isn’t just a city — it’s a state of being. If a fashion designer ever had to describe the City Beautiful, I sure he would say: “Chandigarh is like a crisp white shirt – clean, elegant, and timeless. Its beauty lies in the precision of its design, uncluttered and full of grace.”
