Chandigarh Administration departments to hold joint drives against encroachments
The UT Administration has decided to carry out joint exercise with the MC, Engineering Department, Estate Office and CHB to identify and safeguard their respective lands from encroachers.
UT Chief Secretary H Rajesh Prasad today reviewed key administrative issues like encroachments on government land, e-office, grievance portal, parking and ongoing initiatives with senior officials of the Administration. He emphasised the need to protect all open government land from encroachment. Each department would submit a monthly report in the prescribed format regarding the status of encroachments in their areas and action taken.
