The Chandigarh Administration on Friday released a list of public holidays to be observed in all public offices under the Chandigarh Administration during the calendar year 2023. There are a total of 17 holidays throughout the year.

Besides these holidays, the administration has also released a list of restricted holidays.

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.
