The Chandigarh administration has released the area-wise list of officials to ensure door-to-door distribution of milk in the wake of lockdown.
The list of nodal officers who will ensure home delivery of milk has been uploaded on the website of the Chandigarh Administration and the same can be accessed on the following links:
The UT administration has clarified that “no individual is allowed to visit any milk booth or shop for direct purchase of milk”. The residents can only contact respective nodal officers telephonically for delivery of milk at their doorstep. In case anyone is found violating the provision, strict legal action would be taken against both the individual and the shopowner, as per law, it added.
