The Chandigarh Administration today signed two significant Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) with the Quality Council of India (QCI) and the National Productivity Council (NPC) under the Raising and Accelerating MSME Performance (RAMP) Programme of the Ministry of MSME, Government of India.

The agreements were signed at the UT Secretariat in the presence of Chief Secretary Rajeev Verma and Neerja Sekhar, Director General, NPC. The event marked an important milestone in strengthening the competitiveness of MSMEs and encouraging local industry to adopt global best practices in quality and productivity.

The MoUs were signed by Nishant Kumar Yadav, Secretary Industries, UT, on behalf of the Chandigarh Administration, along with Ashok Kumar, Regional Director, NPC, and Ramanand Shukla, Senior Director and Head, ZED Division, QCI. These collaborations are expected to play a pivotal role in enhancing the overall ecosystem for MSMEs in Chandigarh, thereby fostering innovation, efficiency and sustainable growth.
