ASI Bhupinder Singh of Chandigarh Police, who has been sensitising people about the pandemic, has tested coronavirus positive.

He has been admitted to Government Multi Specialty Hospital, Sector 16.

Sources said Bhupinder showed mild symptoms following which his test was conducted on August 3.

Bhupinder had carried out an intensive awareness campaign to sensitise people about coronavirus in the city.

He has also written a song on coronavirus and had sung it for The Tribune.
