Chandigarh Civic body panel clears agenda
Chandigarh, June 23
The Environment and City Beautification Committee of the MC today approved various agenda items.
These agenda items included supply and fixing of an open air gym and fitness equipment in the park situated in front of house number 3070 and 3071, Sector 20, Chandigarh, under landscaping at an estimated cost of Rs2.95 lakh.
Providing and fixing of bricks on both sides of the concrete track in the park near the Verka booth, Sector 21, and repairs of a concrete track in the green belt os sectors 18 and 19, under landscaping at an estimated cost of Rs9.70 lakh have also been cleared.
The committee also recommended to consider an amendment to the policy regarding the provision of huts in small parks built on an area under 0.5 acre. — TNS
