Chandigarh Covid cases rise, 98 more infected


Chandigarh: The city witnessed 98 fresh cases of Covid on Saturday, taking the active caseload to 492. While there was no fresh fatality due to the virus, 64 more patients recovered from the disease. The virus has claimed 1,165 lives in the city so far. TNS

63 fresh cases in Mohali district

Mohali: The district witnessed 63 more Covid cases in the past 24 hours. The number of positive cases reached 96,609 while 22 patients recovered from the disease. There was no Covid death in the past 24 hours. A total of 95,174 patients have been cured. There are 284 active cases with 1,151 deaths. As many as 20,64,427 beneficiaries have been given anti-Covid shots to date. TNS

56 contract virus in Panchkula district

Panchkula: Fresh 56 cases of Covid were reported in the past 24 hours, taking the number of cases to 44,919 in the district. There was no death due to the virus. As many as 44,297 patients have been cured of the disease. There are 207 active cases with the death toll of 414. TNS
