Chandigarh, July 19
A Chandigarh-based cyclist group ‘Dil Se’ cycled for 20.5 km, drawing 295 on their track, as a tribute to late Punjabi singer Sidhu Moosewala. In all, 50 cyclists participated in the ride on Sunday.
The group started its ride at the Sector 43-44 roundabout and took approximately one hour to conclude it at the Sector 4 petrol pump.
Surjit Singh Salar, one of the cyclists, shared, “The route was designed by Amit Sharma, who is also a group member. He first did a rehearsal to see that the number 295 gets formed on Strava app and then finalised the track.”

“Despite the heavy rain, we completed the track in an hour and it’s our tribute to Sidhu Moosewala,” added Surjit Singh.
Surjit says the song, ‘295’, is meaningful and a lot of people can relate to it considering the current situation in Punjab.
