Chandigarh educational institutes, schools to be closed on August 16

Chandigarh, August 15

Chandigarh educational institutes and schools will remain closed on August 16, 2021, (Monday), the UT government announced on Sunday evening.

Notice:

“As per directions of Governor Punjab -& Administrator, UT Chandigarh, Sh.V.P.Badnore, all educational institutions in Chandigarh will remain closed on Monday, 16th August.”

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.
