A Sub-Divisional Officer (SDO) of the Estate Office has been placed under suspension on account of dereliction of duty.

SDO Mohan Lal, presently posted in the building branch of the Estate Office, was placed under suspension by CB Ojha, Chief Engineer-cum-Special Secretary, Engineering wing, for disobeying the DC’s order.

The SDO allegedly failed to attend the meeting of the Plan Approval Committee (PAC) today and also did not submit the agenda before the PAC. — TNS
