Chandigarh Hockey Academy lads clinch title
Sri Guru Gobind Singh (SGGS) Hockey Club and Chandigarh Hockey Academy (Red) teams won the Chandigarh State Hockey Championships for women and men, respectively, at the Sector 42 Sports Complex.
In the women’s final, the club team overpowered Chandigarh Hockey Academy eves 4-0. Ankita netted three goals in the team’s title win. Chandigarh Hockey Academy (Blue) recorded an 8-2 win over Panjab University Hockey Club to claim the third spot.
In the men’s final, Chandigarh Hockey Academy (Red) team posted a stunning 4-1 win over SGGS Club. Prince starred in the team’s win by contributing two goals for the title winners.
Panjab University Hockey Club recorded a 4-2 win over Chandigarh Hockey Academy (Blue) to finish at the third position.
