In a vibrant celebration of the World Tourism Day 2024, the Tourism Department of the UT Administration organised a run for tourism and peace at the Sukhna Lake today. The event kicked off at 7 am, drawing enthusiastic participation from students from various schools and members of the general public, all united in the spirit of promoting tourism and harmony.

Participants enjoyed refreshments as they ran from the Sukhna Lake light point to the iconic Capitol Complex, embodying the event’s theme of unity and celebrationAs visitors arrived, they were warmly welcomed with beautiful rose buds at key attractions including the UT Secretariat, Sukhna Lake, Rock Garden, Sector 17 Plaza, IAF Heritage Centre, Le Corbusier Centre, Government Museum and Art Gallery and Bird Park.
