Chandigarh implements interest subsidy scheme under PM Awas Yojana

The UT Administration has implemented the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana-Urban 2.0 under the Interest Subsidy Scheme (ISS) in Chandigarh. Under the scheme families belonging to EWS/LIG and MIG categories living in urban areas, having no pucca house anywhere in the country, are eligible for purchase or construction of house under PMAY-U 2.0.

Households belonging to EWS, LIG and MIG category with an annual income of up to Rs 3 lakh, Rs 6 lakh and Rs 9 lakh, respectively, will be eligible to avail the benefit of the scheme.

For availing the benefit under ISS vertical, eligible beneficiaries will be required to register

their demand through Unified web-portal https://pmaymis.gov.in/PMAYMIS2024/PmayDefault.aspx. Subsequently, the application will be forwarded to the concerned primary lending institutions for further necessary action as per the eligibility criteria.
