Chandigarh: Joint Admission Committee admissions begin today

Chandigarh: The Joint Admission Committee (JAC), Chandigarh, will start online registration for admission to BE, BArch, BE Integrated (Chemical) and MBA courses for the 2021-22 academic session in various institutes of the UT from September 30. The registration will close on October 13. The admissions will be on the basis of JEE Main 2021 scores. Chandigarh accepts JEE Main scores for admission to five institutes – Dr SSBUICET, UIET, Panjab University campus, UIET, PU Hoshiarpur regional centre, CCET and CCA. There will be three rounds of online counselling followed by the spot round. Students need to register online at chdenggadmissions.nic.in and pay the registration fee. They are required to upload requisite documents. Prof Amrit Pal Toor, Chairperson, JAC, said all steps had been taken for the admission process. TNS
