Chandigarh judokas selected for Sr Asian Judo Open

Local judokas Angel Yadav and Divanshi Miglani have been selected to represent the nation in the Senior Asian Judo Open to be held in Hong Kong from November 7 to 11. This selection was based on their national ranking.

Angel (17) will compete in the -48kg. She is a student of Government Model Senior Secondary School, Sector 23. This is her second international event after participating in the World Championship-2024 in Peru. She is a nine-time national gold medallist and also attained Khelo India scholarship scheme.

Divanshi Miglani (15) will compete in the +78kg category. A student of Kundan International School, Sector 46, she will be representing the nation for the first time. She is a six-time national gold medallist.
