Local judokas Angel Yadav and Divanshi Miglani have been selected to represent the nation in the Senior Asian Judo Open to be held in Hong Kong from November 7 to 11. This selection was based on their national ranking.

Angel (17) will compete in the -48kg. She is a student of Government Model Senior Secondary School, Sector 23. This is her second international event after participating in the World Championship-2024 in Peru. She is a nine-time national gold medallist and also attained Khelo India scholarship scheme.

Divanshi Miglani (15) will compete in the 78kg category. A student of Kundan International School, Sector 46, she will be representing the nation for the first time. She is a six-time national gold medallist.
