The city recorded 188 cases this week, registering a fall of 34 per cent from the previous week when 284 cases were reported.

Dr Amandeep Kang, Director, Health Services (DHS), UT, said, “Vaccination has helped in a big way to achieve this even as restrictions have been removed. All eligible citizens above 18 years of age should get vaccinated at the earliest. Everyone should wear a mask when stepping out of home. The hard work of healthcare workers in testing and vaccinating has borne fruit.” — TNS
