Mayor Raj Bala Malik today distributed appreciation letters to the inspectors and sub-inspectors of the enforcement wing for rendering services to people residing in various sectors in the city during the lockdown.

Inspectors Sunil Dutt, DP Singh and 10 other sub-inspectors Rattan Singh, Lalit, Bhupinder Kaur, Bishan Lal, Jagmohan, Ved Prakash, Nirmal, Mangal, Rajesh, Ashok Rahi, along with, junior assistant Surinder Singh were honoured. The enforcement staff has been on its toes to provide essential services to the common people during the lockdown. They started the work in March and continued till May. Some of them were posted in mandis to oversee the arrangements to provide vegetables and fruits to residents through vendors. Some were deputed in different sectors to help vendors provide the same.
