Mayor Kuldeep Kumar today inaugurated a newly developed green belt in Sector 48 here in the presence of Deputy Mayor Rajinder Sharma and area Councillor, Chief Engineer Sanjay Arora and others. The Mayor said these green belts will be beneficial for all people, including young and old. He said the 7.25 acre green belt had children play equipment, walking track, benches, huts, plantation of ornamental trees, grassing, besides a boundary wall.

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.
