The Union Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME), in collaboration with the Department of Industries (DoI), Chandigarh Administration, organised a composite awareness workshop and launched Raising and Accelerating MSME Performance (RAMP) in city today.
The event was organised to raise awareness of various schemes of the Ministry of MSME and mobilise stakeholders to participate in implementing the comprehensive Strategic Investment Plan (SIP) under the RAMP programme.
Vinamra Mishra, Director (GA&TP), and Ankita Pandey, Director, (IC&WEC), from the Ministry of MSME, participated in the event and applauded the UT for being the first to receive assistance under the RAMP programme.
Ankita addressed the gathering and laid stress on the importance of the MSME ecosystem in the Indian economy and stated the contribution of government schemes and interventions like RAMP and Yashaswini in promoting the holistic growth and competitiveness of MSMEs.
The workshop generated awareness about the various schemes and sub-schemes of the Ministry of MSME and other efforts supported under RAMP.
