Kids at Sector 25 colony had a field day when UT SSP Nilambari Jagdale reached their doorstep to cheer them during curfew restrictions on Thursday.

A team of UT cops led by the SSP reached the colony with a large number of pizzas that were distributed among the children.

They were also given hand sanitisers and educated about keeping their hands clean to fight the coronavirus.

SSP said that being a mother she understands that children get bored sitting home for so several days.

“I wanted to cheer them, so decided to treat hem with pizzas”, she added.

The teams led by SHO Sector-17 police station, SHO Sector-11 police station and SHO Sarangpur police station also visited the colony to distribute pizzas and sanitisers among the children.
