Chandigarh records 45.8-mm rainfall, expect more showers

Chandigarh: The city recorded 45.8 mm of rainfall in 24 hours. According to the Chandigarh Meteorological Department, the rainfall was recorded from 8.30 am on Saturday till 8.30 am on Sunday. The weatherman has forecast light rain for the next three days. The maximum temperature in the city on Sunday dropped to 31.8°C, three degrees below normal, while the minimum temperature fell to 21.8°C, two degrees less than normal. TNS
