Chandigarh reported 10 new Covid-19 cases over the last 24 hours, a health bulletin from its administration showed.

The union territory now has 143 active cases. The UT reported no new deaths.

Some 1,253 samples were tested over the last 24 hours. The UT’s average positivity rate over the last 24 hours is 0.67 per cent.

The bulletin showed 16 people as having recovered from the infection over the last 24 hours.

Meanwhile, 4,60,694 have had at least one dose of the Covid-19 vaccine in the union territory, and 97,253 have been fully vaccinated, the bulletin showed. Some 6,361 vaccines were administered on July 4, the bulletin showed.
