Chandigarh, June 17

Chandigarh on Thursday reported 32 new cases of Covid-19 taking the total number of positive cases in the city to 61,310.

The number of active cases fell to 432 as 96 people were discharged including persons from home isolation who have completed 10 days and are asymptomatic, as per Ministry of Health guidelines.

Three more deaths were reported in patients suffering from co-morbidities as the death toll reached 802.

As many as 60,076 people have recovered from the virus so far.

The number of samples tested in the last 24 hours are 1,820.
