Chandigarh reports 71 new cases of Covid-19, 5 deaths

Chandigarh, June 8

Chandigarh on Tuesday reported 71 new cases of Covid-19 and five deaths due to the pandemic.

The total number of cases in the city has reached 60,778 of which 685 are active cases.

The death toll in the city has reached 779.

A total of 121 patients have been discharged including persons from home isolation who have completed 10 days and are asymptomatic, as per Ministry of Health guidelines.

The number of cured people in the city has reached 59,314.
