Chandigarh, July 28

The city reported 156 fresh cases of Covid-19 while 115 patients were cured of the disease on Thursday. The positivity rate stands at 10 per cent. Meanwhile, a 41-year-old man from Maloya was brought dead at the GMSH-16. He tested positive for Covid posthumously. There are 848 active cases in the city. TNS

134 more taken ill in Mohali district

Mohali: As many as 134 persons tested positive for Covid during the past 24 hours, while 89 patients were cured of the disease in the district. However, no new fatality due to the virus was reported from the district on Thursday. There are 734 active cases in the district. TNS

82 contract virus in Panchkula

Panchkula: The district reported 82 new cases of Covid during the past 24 hours. There was no fresh fatality on Thursday, while 93 patients were cured of the disease. There are now 326 active cases.
